Pan Roasted Walnuts

Tip

Cook: 5 min

Directions:
To roast walnuts in a pan, start by heating a dry skillet over medium heat. Add the walnuts in a single layer, ensuring even toasting. Stir frequently or shake the pan every 30 seconds to prevent burning. After about 5–7 minutes, the walnuts will turn golden brown and release a rich, nutty aroma. Once toasted, transfer them to a plate to cool before using or storing in an airtight container.

Roasted walnuts will last about 2 weeks at room temperature in an airtight container. For longer storage, keep them in the refrigerator for up to 1 month or in the freezer for up to 3 months to maintain freshness and prevent them from turning rancid.
