Bourbon Bloody Mary Pitcher with Bourbon Bacon

Serves: Eight | Prep: 15 min | Cook: 20 min

Ingredients:

Bourbon Bloody Mary Pitcher:
Lemon wedges
2 Tbsp coarse salt
1 Tbsp freshly grated black pepper
4 cups tomato juice
1 1/2 cups bourbon
1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
3 tsp worcestershire sauce
1 tsp hot sauce
1 1/2 tsp celery salt
1/2 tsp pepper

Bourbon Bacon:
8-10 slices steaky bacon
2 Tbsp bourbon
2 Tbsp dark Brown sugar

Garnish:
Strips of Bourbon Bacon
Lemon slices

Directions:
Make the Bourbon Bacon: Preheat oven 350F/180C. Line a baking tray with aluminum foil and place greased wire rack on top. Lay bacon flat onto the rack, brush with bourbon and sprinkled with brown sugar. Cook, 20-25 minutes, until slightly crisp. Keep checking every 5 minutes so the bacon doesn’t burn.

On a flat plate mix coarse salt and grated black pepper together. Rub a lemon wedge around the rim of the glass and dip into the salt and pepper mixture. Fill glass with ice.

In a large pitcher add tomato juice, bourbon, lemon juice, worcestershire, hot sauce, celery salt, and pepper. Stir, until combined.

Fill each ive filled glass with the bourbon bloody mary mixture and garnish with bourbon bacon and lemon slice.
