Lavender Syrup

Serves: One Cup | Prep: 5 min | Cook: 15 min

Ingredients:

Lavender Syrup:
1 cup water
1 cup sugar
2 Tbsp dried lavender buds

Directions:
In a saucepan bring water and sugar to the boil. Stir, until sugar dissolves. Lower heat add lavender buds and simmer for 15 minutes. Remove from heat at let sit for 1 hour. Strain through a fine mesh strainer. Place into an airtight jar and store in the refrigerator for up to 6 months.

Delicious in cocktails, teas, and coffees.

**If using fresh lavender, double to 4 Tbsp.
**To dry your own lavender, tie lavender sprigs into a bundle and hang upside down in a cool dry place, until dried.
